Love Brands wins Drapers Independents Award

We are delighted to announce that Love Brands Limited has won a prestigious Drapers Independents Award.

The results of the Drapers Independents Awards 2015 were revealed on 16th September at the illustrious, The Brewery, London, where the fashion industry elite came together for an afternoon of recognition and celebration over the sector's achievements.

Wapping based fashion distribution agency, Love Brands has won the Fashion Distributor or Agency of the Year category and was praised by Drapers' expert judging panel for its "strong financials" and "personal and honest approach". The judges were impressed with the vast stockist list – including more than 480 indies in the UK and Ireland – and the fact that, although London-based, Love Brands doesn't neglect other retailers outside of the capital and has established showrooms in Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin. Also noted by the judging panel was the high level of customer service: "Between them, Shalders and Deane have 25 years' experience in the trade, and that shows in their comprehensive service". This, alongside the proactive and supportive role Love brands plays in nurturing their clients and helping with in-store events, sell-throughs, window displays and promotional visuals led to the team being commended as worthy winner.

Asked how he felt on hearing their names announced as the winners, co-founder, Hugo Deane said: "I was Stunned and elated, very proud of the team".
"The whole team is buzzing with excitement and is incredibly happy. We are all very grateful to the Drapers team and the judges for recognising the hard work and dedication Love Brands invests in our customer service and our brand offer. We would also like to congratulate TCA Showrooms and the other Finalists who made for such a challenging competition".

This award is the first Drapers Award won by Love Brands Ltd, which was shortlisted as a Finalist in 2013
