The GUESS brand is currently sold in more than 100 countries worldwide through its  approximately 950 retail stores in the Americas, Europe and Asia, and an additional 700 retail stores operated via the company’s global distributor and licensee network.

GUESS was established in Los Angeles in the United States in 1981 by the Marciano brothers, who had left the south of France in pursuit of the American Dream.

Inspired by a European influence, they redefined denim. One of their initial designs, was the button up  Marilyn, a stone-washed, slim-fitting jean that was launched in the renowned Bloomingdale’s store, in New York. Two dozen pairs of jeans were ordered initially, and these disappeared from the shelves in just hours.

This was the beginning of a long success story.

This was the beginning of the long success story of the GUESS brand, which invites people to dream with its timeless, sexy advertising campaigns featuring the likes of global stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Gigi Hadid and J.Balvin and its ever-popular product ranges. To this day, GUESS is guided by Paul Marciano and remains true to its original heritage.
