NÜ Denmark

NÜ Denmark is a leading Danish womenswear lifestyle label offering cool, relaxed, raw and comfortable collections, with a touch of bohemian. Launched in Denmark in 1997 the Nü collections are now sold in leading stores throughout Europe. nü means naked in French and woman in Chinese, and it fits perfectly into the designers’ vision of a raw simplicity, pure natural materials and ethical production.

GUESS was established in 1981 by the Marciano brothers, who left the south of France in pursuit of the American dream. Inspired by a European influence, the Marcianos redefined denim. One of their initial designs was a stonewashed, slim-fitting jean, the 3-zip Marilyn. Bloomingdale's was the first department store to welcome the brand by ordering two dozen pairs of jeans. They disappeared from the shelves in just hours. This was the beginning of a long success story.

Bertoni was established in 1972 in Denmark. Initially Bertoni was a manufacturer of trousers, but through the years has grown to include a full range of suits and other wardrobe essentials for the Bertoni man. With all know how in house, from design to pattern making, they have successfully developed their own unique fit and have the capacity to proudly manufacture genuine Bertoni garments.With a long tradition for suit making, they only use long lasting materials of the highest quality. They manufature a wide range of suits and stand alone pieces ranging from leisure time to formal wear.

Love Brands wins Drapers Independents Award

We are delighted to announce that Love Brands Limited has won a prestigious Drapers Independents Award.

The results of the Drapers Independents Awards 2015 were revealed on 16th September at the illustrious, The Brewery, London, where the fashion industry elite came together for an afternoon of recognition and celebration over the sector's achievements.

Wapping based fashion distribution agency, Love Brands has won the Fashion Distributor or Agency of the Year category and was praised by Drapers' expert judging panel for its "strong financials" and "personal and honest approach". The judges were impressed with the vast stockist list – including more than 480 indies in the UK and Ireland – and the fact that, although London-based, Love Brands doesn't neglect other retailers outside of the capital and has established showrooms in Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin. Also noted by the judging panel was the high level of customer service: "Between them, Shalders and Deane have 25 years' experience in the trade, and that shows in their comprehensive service". This, alongside the proactive and supportive role Love brands plays in nurturing their clients and helping with in-store events, sell-throughs, window displays and promotional visuals led to the team being commended as worthy winner.

Asked how he felt on hearing their names announced as the winners, co-founder, Hugo Deane said: "I was Stunned and elated, very proud of the team".
"The whole team is buzzing with excitement and is incredibly happy. We are all very grateful to the Drapers team and the judges for recognising the hard work and dedication Love Brands invests in our customer service and our brand offer. We would also like to congratulate TCA Showrooms and the other Finalists who made for such a challenging competition".

This award is the first Drapers Award won by Love Brands Ltd, which was shortlisted as a Finalist in 2013

With 13 targeted categories, the awards cover every aspect of the independent fashion industry, from Best Store Design to Lifestyle Independent of the Year.

The Drapers Independents Awards are the most applauded and relevant awards in the fashion independent sector. The awards provide industry recognition and unrivalled networking opportunities.

Eric Musgrave, editorial director, Drapers, said: "In the 25 years since they were inaugurated in 1991, the Drapers Independents Awards have become a calendar fixture for the industry. They are rightly regarded as the Oscars for the fashion independent sector. The competition has become a national institution with both industry and consumers, a standard for – and recognition of – excellence in all aspects of indie fashion retailing in the UK and Ireland."


NÜ Denmark land their first US concept store!

NÜ Woman is opening the first store in USA and we couldn't be happier for them!!

The concept store will open on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles (opposite the Ole Henriksen beauty parlor) where the store will sell NÜ's full collections of clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry.

The decor of the NÜ store will support it's sophisticated and raw style - the interiors will be kept in natural materials with stone, wood and iron as the principal elements and colors drawn from nature.

The news about the store opening in the United States comes just three weeks after they opened a concept store in Kolding Shopping Center, which is the sixth NÜ shop in Denmark.
